An Auckland born artist she was a graduate from the Elam School of Fine Arts. She was an art teacher but transitioned into becoming a full time artist in the mid 90's. Her works are bold and colourful showing strong lines. She has travelled extensively and her works reflect homegrown subject matter as well as beautifully rendered landscapes from her time overseas. In 2008 she was awarded a Master of Fine Arts (Hons, 1st class). A popular experienced and respected artist.
