John Horner

John Horner graduated with honours from Elam Art School in the 1960s where he was taught by Colin McCahon and Garth Tapper. He has created a wide body of work that is highly respected and sought after. He paints urban, rural and coastal scenes in an expressive style using oils and acrylics and ocassionally utilising  printmaking. In 2003 he completed a Master of Fine Arts with a focus on railways in New Zealand. He was also a senior lecturer at Whitecliff. One of our favourite featured artists.
